Seeing A Patient

It’s your first day on shift, and you’re assigned to see a patient (or multiple). Whether you’re a student or a new hire this can be very overwhelming - there is a lot of data to sort through, and realistically you won’t be able to remember everything. The more algorithmic you make this process the better off you will be - they will become habits, and eventually you will have the experience to remember what is going on.

In order to help you begin to form these habits, we’ve created a template for you to follow. This is by no means all inclusive but it will help you a) give sign out on a patient and b) come up with plan for a patient.
