Inside Pulmcast – Georgia’s Premier APP Fellowship and ICU Training Team
Welcome to Pulmcast! We’re a team of passionate pulmonary and critical care providers working at Piedmont, the largest healthcare system in Georgia. Every day, we bring clinical excellence, teamwork, and compassion to the ICU, tackling complex resuscitations and high-acuity cases with confidence and care.
What sets us apart? In addition to our bedside work, we run the largest Advanced Practice Provider (APP) fellowship and training program in Georgia — a hands-on, high-intensity curriculum built to prepare APPs for leadership in critical care. Our program combines immersive ICU experience with didactic education, bedside teaching, and simulation, all led by practicing experts in pulmonary and critical care medicine.
We also host the Pulmcast podcast, where we share high-yield critical care content, case-based learning, and resus pearls with listeners across the country. Since 2016, our goal has been to make complex medicine accessible, engaging, and useful — both at the bedside and in your earbuds.
Education, mentorship, and teamwork are central to our identity. Whether we’re leading a rapid response, teaching a procedure, or supporting families through life-changing moments, we do it with heart, skill, and a shared purpose: to make a difference in the lives we touch.
If you're an APP looking to train at the top critical care fellowship in Georgia, a podcast listener wanting to level up, or a clinician searching for community — welcome to Pulmcast. You’re in the right place.
