We are proud of being some of the most independent PAs in the state, if not the country. Having autonomy and owning your patient is a huge part of working here. This does not mean you practice without your doc - It is very important to collaborate with your MD, not scribe for or ignore your MD.

• If you pick up a patient, the care of the patient 100% depends on you. If an order is not done it is because you did not do it. The note is yours. You do not wait for your attending to place an order, or assume they will follow up on something; you will follow up on it.
