FAQs

Pre-Course Assignments: We would like to bring to your attention some preparatory work that will enhance your experience at the course.

  1. The faculty has selected chapters from the Manual of Emergency Airway Management (6th Edition) as pre-reading.  Chapters 1 and 3 are required pre-work and the remaining chapters are highly recommended.  ***We understand this is limited by recieving the book.

  2. Materials to review:

Participant Book:  Manual of Emergency Airway Management (6th  Edition). These books will be mailed to your department if they arrive in time, otherwise you will receive these on your first day.

Registration/Breakfast: 7:30am each morning

Meals: Lunch, Snacks, Water and Coffee will be provided

Parking: 1968 Peachtree Road NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30309 (Park in the North Parking Deck. See map below.) Drive through the Collier Road entrance (see blue arrows below) and drive straight looking for the deck labeled North Deck. Please let the parking attendant know you are here for DAC and they will take care of your ticket. Once you exit the north parking deck and go into the hospital, follow the black arrows to get to the 1984 building.

Location: Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, McRae Auditorium (lower level of 1984 building, see map below). When you reach the end of the black arrow on the map, you will see an elevator and set of vending machines. Go past these and to your left you will see a set of stairs; go down these stairs to reach the auditorium.
